Floodline

Floodline is a Government service that provides information and flood alerts to those at risk. Flooding is a growing problem in the UK and Floodline aims to educate and inform wherever possible. Dispelling the common perception that flooding is merely an inconvenience, press adverts displayed the true horror of what it was like to be flooded and bus shelter takeovers displayed the consequences in the flesh. To grab the attention of the press, minature sandbags were sent to key journalists along with information packs.

The campaigns resulted in public awareness of the Floodline service improving in at risk areas by over 150%. With the Floodline phone service receiving increased funding to cope with the demand.
